FRANKIE J HOLDEN & MICHELLE PETTIGROVE

Two of Australia’s best-loved performers, husband and wife team Frankie J Holden and Michelle Pettigrove, present a unique and entertaining show which will delight you with its honesty and humour. They sing (and dance) some of the greatest songs about love, marriage, children and all the other facets of being a couple.

Frankie J Holden has enjoyed a long career as a singer, actor and television personality. During the 1970’s he was frontman for the rock band Ol' 55, which also included Wilbur Wilde, and more recently re-emerged on the music scene with the Ol' Skydaddies, a band featuring members from Ol' 55, Daddy Cool and Skyhooks.

In the late 1990s Holden became the host of the revamped Monday evening variety show ‘In Melbourne Tonight’, co-featuring Julia Morris and Denise Drysdale. He has also appeared in dramas Round the Twist, Something in the Air and Police Rescue. Frankie J. Holden has starred in films as recent as the highly acclaimed 2007 Australian film, Clubland.

Michelle Pettigrove is one of Australia’s most recognisable television faces, best known for her long-running role as Kate Bryant in ‘A Country Practice’, as well as for her roles in ‘Brides of Christ’, City Homicide’, Blue Heelers, just to name a few. She has also appeared in Michelle is also a member of ‘The Funky Divas’, a three girl singing group, in constant demand both here and overseas.

This show has played to two full houses at The Melbourne Concert Hall, and since that time has been performed all over Australia.

‘…a rollicking collection of songs, costume changes, skits, characters and dialogue …the show has many compelling qualities…charistmatic and very watchable’.
The Age

‘Holden and Pettigrove, well-loved television personalities, are polished performers….their comic timing was impeccable. Their singing is even better’. Herald Sun
